Throughout my time at the QUT Anime and Manga club (QAAM) I have made various digital banners to promote the clubs’ events. These banners are made using the digital art tool Krita.

 

Each banner utilizes art from the series that the club would be streaming at the event. The characters in the art were then extracted from the image and used in the banner. Each banner features a character, a shadow for the character, a 2-part coloured background with a gradient, details of the event, QAAM logo and a border.

Most banners stick to the same general layout to ensure they have a sense of unity, however at the request of club execs at the time one or two were modified to deviate from the template for various reasons.
